A bonded warehouse allows the owner of the warehoused goods to leave them without customs duties until they are sold in Switzerland or re-exported to the EU. The import duties are only due with the daily outward shipment for goods warehoused from third-party countries.
A bonded warehouse offers the following advantages:
- Transit goods can be stored without a charge of import duties
- The merchandise must only be sent to the customs centre upon request
- The existing infrastructure can optimally be used for goods turnover and storage
We have an authorisation from the Swiss customs administration to operate a bonded warehouse at our location and handle the registration of the merchandise in transit.
